At Inspiring Works, we have an excellent track record of working with organisations, large and small, to build high performance. This includes facilitating cultural change, building agile ways of working or turning around performance in individual teams or across an organisation. Performance turnaround identifies and builds on strengths and issues inhibiting performance to create shared ownership and optimism, with clear action and accountabilities. Teams grow their self awareness, team cohesion and resilience to deal effectively with challenges as they face them.

Our approach is centred on co-designing change in partnership, building tailored solutions to continue building strengths, overcome problems, and enable teams to enhance performance and adapt positively to change. Programmes may include work such as coaching, leadership development and succession planning with staff at the frontline of service delivery through to organisation leaders. By working together, we can evaluate impact through a combination of qualitative and quantitative measures.

  • Building a culture of recognition and gratitude

    Gratitude and recognition impacts more on people’s motivation and drive than any pay rise. And isn’t just a fad – the evidence is in the science. It encourages greater activity in the hypothalamus part of the brain, which controls essential bodily functions like eating, drinking and sleeping. It helps us to put problems into perspective and so people tend to be less stressed and experience less anxiety and depression. When we recognise and value people, we encourage the release of the hormone dopamine, a feel-good hormone connected with our motivation and drive. When we give recognition, it also encourages the release of oxytocin, which is connected with our empathic and caring nature, which also helps us to feel good and positive about ourselves.
