What we deliver

At Inspiring Works, we deliver a wide range of ongoing and ad hoc support for organisations in the public sector including the NHS, local authorities and schools, for corporate organisations, small businesses and charities.

Coaching

We deliver high quality, high challenge and support coaching sessions. We work with executives and non-executives leading organisations, and middle leaders from different professions, be they managers, technical or clinical experts. Our coaching expertise also includes working with people in stressful, challenging environments, who may be delivering services and care (e.g. teachers, social workers, nurses) and are experiencing work strain, to work on emotional and wellbeing issues, which aims at keeping people in work wherever possible to address issues in positive, sustainable ways.

Team development

To enhance awareness, emotional intelligence and resilience, build high performance, build a strong business plan, overcome challenges implementing change, become more customer-focused, resolve conflict and disagreement, restore positive team working after bullying... just some of the reasons why people work with Inspiring Works in developing their teams.

Session facilitation

Ad hoc, one-off sessions can provide an injection of energy and focus for a team or organisation to review where they are, formulate a high level business plan, learn about an aspect of leadership and resilience which will help them to achieve their goals.

Event speaker and chair

Available to speak at in-house events and conferences as speaker in emotional intelligence, resilience and leadership; Inspiring Works' head Ingrid Steele is also an experienced Chair of meetings and events.

  • Building a culture of recognition and gratitude

Gratitude and recognition impacts more on people’s motivation and drive than any pay rise. And isn’t just a fad – the evidence is in the science. It encourages greater activity in the hypothalamus part of the brain, which controls essential bodily functions like eating, drinking and sleeping. It helps us to put problems into perspective and so people tend to be less stressed and experience less anxiety and depression. When we recognise and value people, we encourage the release of the hormone dopamine, a feel-good hormone connected with our motivation and drive. When we give recognition, it also encourages the release of oxytocin, which is connected with our empathic and caring nature, which also helps us to feel good and positive about ourselves.
